What’s more good than a nice piece of rotisserie, tasty and nutritious at the same time , to make the usual delicious meal? The rotisserie , homemade with ingredients chosen to make perhaps a bit ‘ more healthy food than , let’s face it , good and healthy , yes, but not really. Today I propose a recipe for toast, two slices of bread stuffed, breaded and fried, crispy crust that in their hiding a perfect combination of ham, mozzarella cheese and sauce.
Ingredients: 10 large croutons
2 packs of bread for sandwiches
500 g. of sauce
700 g. buffalo mozzarella
100g . cooked ham into thin slices
q.b. of milk ( about half a liter )
4 or 5 large eggs
extra virgin olive oil for frying.
First of all, prepare the sauce should be quite thick , spreadable . Cut the mozzarella into thin slices, then pass the bread slices in the milk very quickly , so that you soften too . Spread the sauce on both slices , without reaching the edges , put the mozzarella, optionally, close the two ham slices and press to adhere well , go in the flour , even the edges , then in beaten egg with a pinch of salt , and finally in breadcrumbs . Heat plenty of extra virgin olive oil in a deep saucepan and fry , stirring continuously . When you have finished frying , drain on paper towels excess oil , place the mozzarella in a carriage on a baking sheet and put into the oven for about 5 minutes , to give way to the filling of melt completely . Serve hot and Bon Appetit .
The filling can vary according to personal taste , and you can keep it simple, with only the mozzarella, which could also be mozzarella or smoked , or, for example , you could also use anchovies in oil, with and without the sauce , or , as in my case with the white sauce and ham , in other words , use your creativity !
